Founder profile
Mohammed Mazen Al Nasser
Mohammed Mazen Al Nasser (محمد مازن الناصر) is a Jordanian lawyer and legal-regulatory professional, and the creator of MERENVAY, a human-led Legal Intelligence & Decision Assurance project developed in Jordan.
About
Mohammed Mazen Al Nasser is a Jordan-qualified lawyer and member of the Jordan Bar Association. His public professional background spans legal practice and advisory work across commercial matters, public and administrative law, intellectual property, telecom and digital matters, due diligence, civil-society law and legal reform. His postgraduate studies include Intellectual Property at German Jordanian University and Journalism & New Media at Jordan Media Institute.
His professional history also includes senior in-house legal work with Huawei in the Levant region, placing legal practice inside a regional telecommunications and technology environment. Across that work and later advisory roles, source verification and due diligence became recurring parts of the decision process: separating what is verified from what remains uncertain, and identifying what could materially change a conclusion.
He created MERENVAY around a decision-assurance thesis: professional AI should expose the evidence state, competing hypotheses, uncertainty, reversal conditions and release blockers behind a conclusion, while keeping final release under Human Legal Review.
From digital protection to decision assurance
An early professional interest in protecting ideas, information and technology-related rights led Al Nasser toward intellectual property and digital legal matters. That focus later broadened through technology-sector work and due diligence from protecting digital assets and rights to examining the integrity of the information used to make professional decisions.
In 2021, Jordan News Agency (Petra) cited Al Nasser as an intellectual-property legal expert in reporting on privacy and unauthorized photography. This official historical reference is not presented as proof that the earlier activity caused the later development of MERENVAY.
